The Design of Technology-Supported Learner-Centered Learning Environments:
The La Salle Greenhills Grade School Experience
by Miguel Q. Rapatan
Center for Educational Multimedia, De La Salle University-Manila

Over the last five years, the Grade School Department of La Salle Greenhills has developed across the curriculum various modules for different technology-supported learner-centered learning environments. The design of these modules represents a particular framework on the role of technology in facilitating cognitive change and growth in students' learning. The design also embodies changes experienced by the faculty in the design of technology-based instructional materials.

This paper presents the framework used and the process of change that students and faculty experience in instruction, technology use, and assessment. Sample modules from various content areas will also be shared.
